lyrics
Can’t I just pretend I wont break before I bend?
At least stop dragging my feet,
So I won’t appear so weak.
What a decieving song I’ve come to sing?
What a deceptive story I’ve had to tell?
What a deceitful picture I’ve come to paint
What a decieving tune I’ve come to sing?
Lost the purpose in life,
But found a new one in disguise.
I wont believe it for a second of time, but it’s all I’ve got.
I’ll live the lie.
As sweat goes through my skin,
And I lose my grip.
My grip on motivation.
In your perfect world, I can’t help but quit
I’m simply not part of the equation.
